Kenya Feb 2012: Development of a Solid and Liquid Waste Management Plan for Athi-River Factory/Crusher plant and Kajiado Limestone/ Calcite Quarry Restoration/ Rehabilitation Plan.

Objective: Develop a working blueprint for solid waste management (kitchen waste, office waste, rock debris and waste from sanitary facilities) at the factory and formulate a methodology for quarry restoration and rehabilitation after decommissioning phase as a statutory requirement under the Environmental and Coordination Act, 2009 and as per the EIA/EA regulations of 2003.
