Mrs Njeru has immense expertise in Participatory Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (Log Frame, zopp, Cost- Benefit Analysis, PRA, RRA methodologies etc.), Training of Trainers (TOT), Organizational Development (OD), Team  Capacity Building and Development, Community Development, Strategic Thinking and Management, Resource mobilization &Management for Wealth Creation, Mainstreaming Gender issues into Development Agenda, Mainstreaming in HIV/Aids issues into Development Agenda and Corporate Governance.

She was a supervisor in  2009 National Population & Housing Census Survey a Lead Coordinator for the Integrated Rural Development Program (IRDP) for Mbeere District with the following responsibilities with the responsibility of   management of program staff, resources and over 90 self -help groups,  facilitation of  participatory planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the program activities, participatory needs assessment for the district and develop project/ program proposals for funding and  link the diocesan development agenda with various development partners like GOK line ministries, NGOs, CBOs, Local Government and the Mbeere DDC.

She has also worked as Social worker for Diocesan Rural Water Development Program charged with the following responsibilities of mobilizing the community groups for projects planning, implementation, maintenance and sustainability, training all the water projects stakeholders in all aspects of the water projects activities developing  proposals for funding of the community water requirements and  conducting  continuous participatory planning, monitoring and evaluation of the water project activities with all the stakeholders
